  • Medical officer in Public Health for 30 years from 1981 to 2010.
  • Various posts handled are: Medical Officer Primary Health Centres for 13 years.as a medical officer District Training Centre, Satara.

    Other assignments :
  • UNICEF state Office Mumbai f: consultant in developing programme for out of school youths to reduce prevalence of HIV/AIDS.( July 2005 June 2006)
  • Program manager at Satara for European Commission assisted SIP (Sector Investment Program) for creating reforms in health in District of Satara. ( 2001 to 2007)
  • Consultant with PSI (Population Services International) India office at Delhi. Supporting the RNTCP in rural areas of Satara, Sangli and Kolhapur districts. ( 2011 to 2013)
  • NCD Medical officer, at Civil Hospital Satara(Sept 2014 to Jan 2015)
  • Consultant with PSI (Population services International) supporting RNTCP in TB notification and treatment adherence. Work area Thane, Kalyan Dombivali and Bengaluru Municipal Corporations. Engaging private doctors, Hospitals and Labs for notification of TB cases.

  • Ist prize in FW programme at State level in 1981-82
  • Certificate of Appreciation from Health Department Govt of Maharashtra for good work in 1997.
  • Ist prize in Developing Best District Action plan in Health under SIP at national level in 2001 -02
  • Developed one Educational film on Adolescents Health under SIP in 2005-06
  • Developed educational booklets on Adolescent Health under SIP in 2005-06
  • Organized 12 episodes on problems of adolescent Health under UNICEF Mumbai on DD Mumbai in the 2004-05.
  • Gem award from Population Services International, India for AXSHAYA (RNTCP) in 2012.
  • Awarded 3 (three) advance increments during service from 1995 to 2005.
  • Pearl award from Population services international, India for Urban TB programme in 2016.
